MLM Tools and Resources for Lead Generation
A
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) is just what it sounds like – you pay a
set amount every time someone clicks on your listing in that
search engine. You determine the amount per click and how
much you want to spend on a monthly basis.
Why would
you want to do this? Well, some people have more time than
money and others more money than time. If you have a decent
budget set up for your business and you want to speed up the
process of having people come to you, then PPC is a great
tool to consider, and I encourage you to educate yourself before you
jump in and blow through that advertising budget in short
order with no results.
Some
benefits to using PPC are –
·
You advertise only to those
people looking for what you have
·
You only pay when they
respond by clicking to know more
·
You pay based on real
market values for your keywords
You've
seen PPC listings even if you aren't aware of it. Go to
Google.com and type in Home Based Business. You see the two
or three listings at the top in the pastel colored box with
the word sponsored links
out to the right side? And also the links down the right
column that also say sponsored links?
These are PPC listings and if you click
them, the advertiser who placed them there is going to get
charged a fee because you clicked.
These can
provide rapid return for your investment and also cost you
in the process. It also helps to overcome the mystique
surrounding getting listed in the search
engines.
Before you
spend a DIME doing this, though, get a clear understanding
and save yourself thousands of dollars in wasted clicks -
get the Google AdWords Guide -

Google
AdWords is currently the dominate player in the PPC arena so
you want to know what you are doing there. This is the best
one to start with as it has the furthest reach online and
will ultimately give you the most bang for your
buck.
Google
syndicates their search results on other websites so you are
not just advertising to those who go to Google.com and use
it for searching for something. You are also targeting
traffic on hundreds of thousands of other websites through
the campaigns they place on other sites.

Take the
tutorial and be prepared to spend some uninterrupted time
exploring, learning and taking notes.
Again, I
highly encourage the guide. I blew through hundreds of
dollars with little to no results until I got the guide,
spent some time and learned how to master the program. Once
I did that, my costs per click dropped, as did my overall
budget and my leads started converting.

There is
also Yahoo Search Marketing.

You can pre-set a monthly spending amount, or set an unlimited
budget, so you have a lot of flexibility. I blew through $200
over a weekend once because I did not know what I was
doing.
That’s a
lesson I only had to learn one and won’t repeat that
mistake.
