How often do you find yourself dealing with price objections in your business. Sadly one of the first things asked by someone who we hope to do business with is - How much does it cost?
How often is this the first question you ask?
The problem with this is that it’s the wrong FIRST question. It’s not that the cost of something doesn’t matter. It’s that the PAYOFF is the more important question.
I would much prefer to hear - what can I expect from your program? What’s the payoff I will receive?
Think about this in terms of your own buying habits and how you determine whether or not to buy. The key for you and me, is to make sure we are sharing the value and the transformation one can expect and experience.
Paint that picture so brilliantly that your ideal client clearly sees the value, and are chomping at the bit to get started.
An investment of $5,000 with a guaranteed return of $10,000 would be a stellar investment, wouldn’t you agree? So, why would someone hesitate?
Transformation is a two way street. in most cases.
People have to truly want to invest, with monetarily and in action, in their own transformation.
When I run onto this with potential coaching clients…when “how much does it cost…” is the first question they want to know, I most often know one of two things -
For my coaching clients, it’s a no brainer. I have created two six and seven figure businesses using the exact methods I teach, train on and still use to this day.
If it works for me, why would it not work for you….if you work it? One has to be willing to invest fully in what is required for success.
Next time you are evaluating a purchase, be clear on cost vs payoff. And, next time you are working with a client, be sure you are painting the right picture.
