Think about that.
Pause and just REALLY think about that.
In every area of your life.
Are you satisfied with the core areas of life?
Grab a piece of paper and list the 5 top value areas in your life. Under each one, write:
Now, think about your habits in each one. Think back over the last week.
Just taking my 5 areas, I ask myself, what did I do this past week to show up solid and successful in my faith?
How about with my family and friends? In my relationships? Was I present? Loving? Caring?
How about with my fitness and financial goals? Was I on track?
This is the easiest way to be self accountable and your best coach.
You know what needs to be done to succeed in each area, don’t you? If you are really honest with yourself.
Who do your need to become...
How to Reframe the way we see, label and feel about rejection.
To move ahead, we must begin to Reframe Rejection - or how we view and experience it.
"No" very often just means "Not Right Now…”
People are honoring their own values, interests and what is going on in their lives RIGHT NOW!
They are NOT rejecting You.
Nothing has gone wrong and your decision is not bad.
Your product or offering is not bad or wrong.
Understand the Timeline of Success. Think of your own decision making and buying process. Do you say yes right away, in most cases?
What was your buying process or decision making process with your current business or offer?
Every business has peaks and valleys. ALWAYS. None of us are immune to it.
Understand the power and importance of Follow Up. Plan and get your system in place for it.
Get clarity around your business - the why, what, who,...
So many people struggle when they try to grow a full time income and business while working at another job, with limited time.
Can you relate?
The key to making this work, and building your part time business into a full time income and career, without losing your mind is through systems.
Systems equal success.
Systems equal a lifestyle business.
And, isn’t that what we all desire, really? A life we love, with time to enjoy what matters, while building an income and a career that fuels our passion, our fun and our finances?
Here are some examples of systems in your business that will create that, when you understand them, how to use them and commit to it.
Evergreen Content - so you no longer have Stare, Compare and Despair syndrome, wondering what to post on Social.
Calendar - so you always know what you are doing when, and can plug that...
WE hear it over and over again - you’ve got to give value.
What does that mean, really?
Here is what it is NOT - it is not about sharing nothing but facts, figures and how tos!
We all know how to lose weight, basically.
Eat less and move more. There is no shortage online of recipes, menus, fad diets, workouts, shredded abs in 15 days and so on.
Value comes best through shared experiences.
Common themes and ideas.
Struggles and successes.
Being part of the tribe.
Do you know who your tribe is?
Do you know what their struggles and fears are?
What keeps them awake at night?
Do you speak that to them over and over in your content? So they know you see them.
You know them.
You get them.
You can help them.
Want to learn how to identify your tribe and write powerfully and strategically to...
There is a psychology behind sales and those who thrive at selling, converting, signing up team members and growing their business have learned it, even if they don’t realize they have.
I was taught by a brilliant copy writer to remember that - People are bored out of their minds and looking for entertainment and things to brighten up their day. Entertain them and they will pay attention and share your content.
You may think that’s great for everyone else but you are not a great writer.
Well, that’s another learned skill. You may not ever become Shakespeare, but you can jazz up your writing.
Power words are a great way to do this.
For starters, the word YOU is always at the top of the list. Your audience doesn’t care about you first and foremost, they care about themselves. So use the word YOU more than I or me.
We all have them, those days we feel like quitting our Business. We can’t seem to find anyone who will listen, meanwhile everyone else is having huge success.
We look in the mirror and ask - what is wrong with me? What do they know that I don’t know?
Stop. Take a deep breath and sigh it out.
Close your eyes and ask - Who am I? What do I know I am capable of? What within me needs to shift?
Never quit on a bad day. That’s the easy route.
Have you heard my story of mean Janeen? Check the show notes and listen to my March 15th episode, as well as April 15th.
When you think about quitting, what is the emotion you feel? Is it positive or negative? Wanting to quit is not a sign from the universe that maybe this is not for you. It’s a sign from your high power, your higher self telling you that your mind just needs some work.
We all have a personal definition of Success. What it means to us.
Quite often, at least in America, that comes down to money. Business, Our career. Our position or title.
Success doesn't need to be measured by money or power.
When you are starting your own journey, as an entrepreneur, it’s more important to use other measuring tools for your success.
Getting things done. Taking action. Being in the arena. Simply showing up for your business.
Income producing activities are what lead to monetary success.
Try setting a goal to meet new people, share what you do, make offers and follow up each day.
Check each day as accomplished in those areas and that is success, which will lead to the monetary success you also, likely desire.
In last week’s Monday Motivation Minute, I mentioned that success is never owned, only...
Success is never owned. It’s only rented. And the rent is due everyday. Anonymous Quote
This is why consistency matters. It allows you to pay the rent.
Strip the term massive action from your brain. Focus instead on manageable,
Small steps daily.
What do you Anchor actions need to be?
Are you doing them?
Are those anchor actions taking you toward your goal and destination.
Talent won’t outperform consistency. EVER.
Set your fears aside and work on the changes you need to make to show up consistently.
Turn the phrase impossible to I’m possible
You have a choice:
Prove yourself right or prove yourself wrong.
Which will you choose?
There is not substitute for hard work. There are no shortcuts.
There is smart work and smart cuts. Know them and do them.
Do you have a...
There are going to be times of chaos and overwhelm in your business. In pursuit of your goals and dreams.
This is true for everyone. EVERYONE.
We only see the filtered, photoshopped version of most people’s success, and I don’t mean because they only show it that way. That’s what our brain tends to dial in on.
We want to pretend it’s somehow easier for others.
You’re going to have some struggle and chaos.
Chaos does not give you permission to quit or ease up.
Remember Sully, the airline pilot of the Landing on the Hudson airline disaster miracle.
He couldn’t quit because the going got tough. That was when he had to draw in deep and internal on skills he was taught, mastered but had never used.
Deep inside, you have some skills and character traits that make you capable of handling chaos;...
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who hasn’t dealt with imposter syndrome at one time or another.
That feeling like you really aren’t as good as others; not up to par; that you are somehow a fraud.
I have felt it numerous times, even after I became a million dollar earner in network marketing.
Before speaking on stage; when submitting a proposal for a speaking spot; when asked to be interviewed on a podcast, and even launching my academy.
The funny thing is - there is nothing I teach in my academy that can’t be duplicated and that I have not used and monetized. NOTHING.
I have all of the boxes checked to have earned my success.
But, you know what I don’t have? A college degree, and I have allowed that to keep me playing small in my mind too many times. Long ago, I made a decision that my income would always be tied to my...
