In 1999, after attending an internet seminar, I saw some genuine potential in using online methods as a tool to "reverse roles" and allow those people who were interested in a home business to find me, and let me know they wanted to know more.

 

So, I decided to give this “Internet thingie” a go, and build a web presence, and ultimately a business online.

 

Lots of people lined up to tell me I was crazy; I wouldn’t be successful; it couldn’t be done. I calmly put my blinders and ear muffs on and got busy proving them wrong.

WHY - How Much Does it Matter to Your Success

How I discovered it, what I did with that when I lost my why how I got it back and where I am today.

When I started my network marketing journey, maybe, much like you I was asked by my upline and told in my training to "write down my why..."

 


I started to work on my "why!" 

But the reality of it is, I was very confused about what that really meant. What's my why?

When I started my network marketing business,  I just wanted to make a lot of money. I wanted to create lifestyle freedom. I wanted to create time freedom.

I wanted to stop looking at the cost of everything before making decisions.

Most of all I wanted to make sure that I could stay home full time with my children. That was absolutely my top my number one goal.

Pick 10 people a day to engage with. Track it.

 

Be consistent. They will begin to see your posts.

 

This is how the algorithm works. Engage with them first. Get on their radar as well as Instagram or Facebook.

1st, Create a crystal clear vision for your business and the lifestyle you want to create through your business. The why is the most important part of the whole equation. It doesn’t matter what type of entrepreneur you study - real estate, internet marketer, network marketer, inventor, author/speaker - and so on - the key elements to success are the same. Your back ground and your past history and experiences also have NOTHING to do with your ability to have success, so get over it. If you are allowing these things to interfere, you are doing this by CHOICE and not by chance. Most of the time, it’s a crutch we hold onto for some reason.

How to Choose a Focus Word

 

 

Choosing Your Focus Word Should Be Intentional

More than just a random "Feel good" process.

 

More than just choosing a word that we think is cool.

 

 

Goals, resolutions and frustration is often what happens at the beginning of the year.

This year, let’s get intentional with our planning, choose a focus word and create a REAL breakthrough.

Most often, we are random with the goals we set and then have no real plan to get us there.

Each year, in the last 2 months of the year, I begin to pay attention to words that come to mind for me when I am doing my daily thought download.

I wanted to be very intentional about this process.

So, when a word strikes me, I would add it to the jar.

There are some words in there multiple times, and some just once.

Then, on the 30th or 31st of December, I say a prayer, ask for the right word to find me, and I reach into the jar and grab it!

For 2021 - my word is Resilience.
